Lessons in Time - There's always enough
We lost our beloved healing kitty, Fira on 10-11-17. She was vital and bright and had a gentle, loving personality. In the time leading up to her passing, Piotrek and I had several weeks with our baby girl. This time was exactly what she was seeking and was exactly what we wanted.
Our days were filled with snuggling, meditating to healing sounds, exchanging healing energy, feeding her her favorite raw food, and lots and lots of love. The three of us were in the groove of love and gratitude for our time together.
Reflecting upon this, I realized that Fira was offering a lesson in presence, consciousness and time. This very special time that we shared together was clear, connected and vulnerable. Even through the tears that came in and out, we were with each other without distraction, just BEING and it was magic.
We found ourselves, continuing to run our businesses and life, yet still able to be completely dedicated to our girl and consciously present with her and each other. As she passed and grief settled in, the time and space remained. And the greatest lesson about time came through clearly.
THERE IS ENOUGH TIME.
In fact, we all have exactly the same amount of time in a day, we always have. What has changed is our perspective. Running and rushing through our days and our to-do lists causes us to miss the most important part of life, living it.
In order to do this, we must first change the way we see time and honor it as a beautiful resource. We must accept that there is enough time, every single day. And we must choose presence in the time we have. This leads to a great deal of peace within and increases our energy.
