Cosmetic Acupuncture is a facial rejuvenation treatment using acupuncture points on the face, neck, ears and body. Cosmetic Acupuncture is an extension of traditional acupuncture and has been used for thousands of years in Chinese Medicine.

Microneedling

Microneedling is the shallow penetration of skin with multiple tiny, short, solid needles. This technique has been used to treat external and internal conditions in Chinese Medicine for thousands of years. Today, we use mechanical penetration which allows us to needle more consistently and with greater efficiency and efficacy.

What to expect

Facial Acupuncture

Before your session, you’ll complete our history form and we’ll have a brief chat about your goals for cosmetic acupuncture. Sessions begin with acupuncture points on the body. These points are points that ground the energy and help to anesthetize the face. We will then use points on and around the ears that help to lift the face and support the nervous system. After this, we will needle the face. Needles remain in for 20 minutes. After this, we take the needles out and conclude the session with some facial Gua Sha. Facial Acupuncture Aftercare PDF

Microneedling

Before your session, you’ll complete our history form and we’ll have a brief chat about your goals for cosmetic acupuncture. Before we apply micro needling, we will apply numbing gel or CBD to the face. Then we’ll apply needles to some acupuncture points on the body. These points are points that ground the energy and help to anesthetize the face. We will then use points on and around the ears that help to lift the face and support the nervous system. After this, we begin micro needling, which takes about 20 minutes to do the face and neck. We’ll end the sessions with Gua Sha. Microneedling Aftercare PDF
