My Why: A Journey into Pelvic Health

Since 2009, I’ve been on a transformative journey—a journey rooted in bringing Pelvic Care to Acupuncturists. What began as a seedling of an idea has blossomed into a mission to empower practitioners to address pelvic health challenges at their core. 🌱

I teach pelvic health to acupuncturists because I believe we are uniquely positioned to treat not just the symptoms of dysfunction but its true source. This means addressing the physical, emotional, and energetic patterns that underlie pelvic health challenges.✨ My journey to this understanding has been deeply personal and profoundly transformative.

The Beginning: Physical Therapy and Pelvic Health

It all began with my work as a physical therapist, specializing in pelvic health long before it entered the mainstream conversation. Clients came to me with struggles—pain, dysfunction, and disconnection—and I was determined to help. I immersed myself in learning everything I could from a biomedical perspective. While these tools were valuable and clients often improved, something essential was missing. The changes didn’t always last, and I felt there was a deeper layer I wasn’t accessing.

The Turning Point: Discovering Dry Needling and Energy

Around the same time, I was introduced to dry needling. As I practiced, something surprising happened: the bodies began speaking to me. Through the needles, I could sense energy, emotions, and the interconnectedness of systems in ways I hadn’t been trained to perceive.🌌 This awakening led me to explore Chinese medicine and its holistic approach to the body and spirit, particularly in the context of pelvic health.

Integrating Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM)

As I began weaving TCM principles into my sessions, the results were undeniable. My clients experienced not just relief but sustained, life-changing healing. Their bodies seemed to respond to the deeper understanding I was cultivating—a recognition of their emotional and energetic landscapes, not just their physical symptoms.

Personal Transformation: Healing My Own Trauma

My personal journey also played a pivotal role. Through studying craniosacral therapy, I began to heal my own trauma, particularly in my pelvis. This deepened my empathy and sharpened my understanding of the profound connection between body, mind, and spirit. When I eventually enrolled in acupuncture school, I chose a Five Element program to deepen my understanding of The Spirit in TCM and, in particular, the Spirit of the Points. This became the final piece of the puzzle.🧩 It allowed me to create a comprehensive system of pelvic care that addresses not just the physical, but also the emotional and spiritual roots of dysfunction.

Sharing the Vision: Teaching Pelvic Health to Acupuncturists

Now, I’m passionate about sharing this approach with other acupuncturists. We have the tools to treat the whole person, to hold space for their transformation, and to address the patterns at the heart of their struggles. Teaching pelvic health is my way of expanding this work, empowering acupuncturists to bring profound and lasting healing to their clients.

In my teachings, I care deeply about your story and your practice. I tailor my teachings to the practitioners I’m with, meeting you where you are. This is where the magic of my teaching comes to life.💛

I’d love to invite you into my world. Have a look at my current offerings, and if something resonates with you, please join me. Together, we can create a transformative impact in the field of pelvic health.
